Palm Chip8 Converter

I have a considerable history with the Chip8 platform, but many folks don't know that it all started a quarter-century ago with PalmChip8, a Chip8 emulator for the PalmOS platform by Jonas Lindstedt. You can find a copy on the internet archive.

PalmChip8 came with a conversion utility for bundling .ch8 roms into .pdb "databases" for PalmOS, but it's provided as a .exe file which won't run on my favorite operating systems. Since the Decker App Jam is active, I thought building a modern, portable alternative was an excellent excuse to demonstrate Decker's facilities for working with binary files. As a bonus, you can also perform the conversion in reverse, stripping .ch8 rom data out of PalmChip8 .pdbs. Your mileage may vary, safety not guaranteed, etc.
