Decker 1.17

Decker v1.17 provides usability improvements, more general transitions, improved grid behavior, and some bugfixes.

New Features:

  •  While in Widget mode, the Edit menu now includes "Move Down" and "Move Up" options for reordering widgets, in addition to the existing options for moving widgets to the front or back of the stack. While widgets are selected, the bracket keys ("[" and "]") are a shortcut for moving down or moving up, respectively.
  • Grids now accept "C" as an additional column format code: "plain currency", formatted with 2 decimal places but no leading $.
  • Grids now right-align columns with numeric formats: f, c, C, i, h, or H.
  • Decker now includes a "Help" menu which can be used to open browser tabs for the Decker and Lil reference documentation, as well as the main Decker website and online forum, making them easier to find, especially for new users.
  • The "go[]" function now accepts a function as the second argument, rather than exclusively the name of a function registered with "transition[]". This makes it easier to create highly specific "one-off" transition animations.
  • The "go[]" function now accepts an optional third argument specifying the duration of the transition in frames. By default, transitions take 30 frames (half a second) to elapse. Specifying a duration of "120" would instead cause the transition to take 2 seconds to complete. (Note that Decker may actually render fewer frames than specified on slow computers.)
  • The "Action" dialog for button widgets now provides a thumbnail preview of the selected transition:

Fixes (Web and Native):

  • The "Tight Selection" feature was not working correctly while in Transparency Mask mode.
